Sutherland High School’s PTSA supports and celebrates the parents and guardians, teachers and staff, and all students of the SHS community. SHS PTSA is a volunteer association that provides organizational and financial support for student and staff programs, acts as an information resource for families, facilitates communication between school and home, and plans and sponsors a variety of programs and events.

 

Through meetings and bi-weekly eNews, SHS PTSA helps provide the answers to the who, what, where, and how questions that pop up in every high school parent or guardian’s mind. PTSA meetings feature updates from the SHS Principal, Faculty Advisor, and Student Council Representative and provide a great opportunity to interact with many different SHS stakeholders at once. We promise that if you come to a meeting, you will learn something new!

 

There are many ways to get involved with SHS PTSA. The easiest is to become a member of Pittsford PTSA for $17. Your contribution helps support all our activities at Sutherland as well as at schools across the Pittsford school district. The Program Directory lists SHS programs and events involving PTSA. In addition to PTSA-sponsored activities, there are many school-sponsored activities that are often supported by PTSA volunteers. Take a look at the Volunteer page to see all the ways you can help.

 

From Freshman Orientation through Senior Bash, SHS PTSA hopes to help make every Knight’s high school experience rewarding and memorable.
