Helping Hands

Helping Hands

Helping Hands is a PTSA sponsored extracurricular community service program open to MCE 4th and 5th graders. The program provides a variety of service  opportunities. 

 

Student experiences:

  • An ability to make a meaningful difference in the world

  • An awareness of community needs & social responsibility

  • Working with good role models

  • Use creative problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Leadership in community service activities in their school

  • An inspiration to pursue a lifetime of service to others

  • HAVE FUN!

Students may participate with parental permission. Participation is voluntary; there is no requirement to attend all Helping Hands meetings or to participate in any after-school or weekend activities. Meetings are held during lunch in the MCE cafeteria approximately once a month.
